Gatik Raises $200 Million With $600 Million in Contracted Revenue as Driverless Freight Scales
Gatik raised $200 million as its autonomous middle-mile freight business moves toward larger commercial deployment.
Why it matters: Commercial autonomous freight is becoming one of the clearest monetization paths for self-driving technology outside robotaxis.
Autonomous-trucking company Gatik has raised $200 million as driverless freight operations move from controlled demonstrations toward commercial deployment in major retail and consumer-goods supply chains. The company operates autonomous box trucks between distribution centers and stores, and says it has secured more than $600 million in contracted revenue. The new capital will support fleet expansion, infrastructure and technology development.
