Navitas Buys Claros for Up to $232.8 Million as AI Chips Push Power Delivery to the Processor

Navitas Semiconductor / GlobeNewswire · 2026-08-25

Navitas Semiconductor agreed to acquire Claros for up to approximately $232.8 million, adding vertical power-delivery and integrated-voltage-regulator technology for AI processors.

Why it matters: The deal highlights processor-level power delivery as an emerging AI infrastructure bottleneck alongside GPUs, memory, networking and cooling.

Navitas Semiconductor has agreed to acquire Claros for up to approximately $232.8 million as the AI infrastructure race moves deeper into the electrical architecture surrounding high-performance processors. Claros develops vertical power-delivery and integrated-voltage-regulator technology designed to supply extremely high current directly to AI accelerators and other advanced processors. Navitas plans to combine the technology with its existing gallium-nitride and silicon-carbide portfolio, creating a grid-to-processor power stack. The company says the acquisition could more than double its identified 2030 serviceable addressable market to more than $8 billion.
