Nvidia AI Server Prices Reportedly Jump More Than 15% as Memory Shortage Hits Vera Rubin and Blackwell

Bloomberg / Reuters · 2026-09-03

Some Nvidia customers were reportedly told to expect AI-server price increases exceeding 15% as memory costs rise.

Why it matters: Memory constraints may materially raise total AI infrastructure costs for hyperscalers and neocloud operators.

Some of Nvidia’s largest customers are reportedly being told to expect price increases of more than 15% on AI-server systems beginning with early-2027 shipments, including Grace Blackwell and Vera Rubin configurations. The reported driver is sharply higher memory pricing as HBM and DRAM supply remain tight. Reuters said it could not independently verify the Bloomberg report and Nvidia had not publicly commented, so the pricing remains reported rather than confirmed.
